Telesia 2 the World

Telesia has been learning Chinese to advocate for her people on climate change issues in the Pacific. We follow her journey representing NZ on the world stage in a Chinese speech competition. This film was made by Telesia Tanoai, a year 12 student at Samuel Marsden Collegiate School, Wellington. She is a Samoan New Zealander with an international view of the world. She is a budding film maker, passionate about supporting Pasifika youth to tell their stories through film, and she has been a facilitator for the Pasifika Youth Short Film competition run by the social enterprise Poporazzi Productions, for the last 3 years.
