A stunning audiovisual experience of Splore.
Filmed over seven years during a three-day music and art festival, Splore, the film is a cinematic celebration of human connections and our need for play. For decades this festival has created a safe space for playfulness on land that is blessed by the local iwi.
Directed by Doc Edge alumna, Stevenson (Moko – The Art of Living) explores deep human emotion with cinematic frames and a multi-genre score, sinking into moments of humour, joy, family, celebration, love and adventure, where even the mundane is insightful.
Screening with a short film: Nothing is Impossible: The Primanavia Story (15 min)
Winner: Best Sound (New Zealand) at Doc Edge Awards 2025.
